Discovery Health Channel Announces Production of “Skeleton Stories,” an All-New Forensic Science Series
Discovery Health Channel in the U.S. announces production of SKELETON STORIES, a six-part series that falls within the popular forensic science genre. SKELETON STORIES delves into forensic anthropology, which focuses on the examination and identification of skeletal, decomposed and/or unidentified human remains. The series is scheduled to premiere on Discovery Health Channel in the U.S. the fourth quarter of 2005. Atlas Media maintains the international rights and will be offering it at MIPCOM for the first time.
SKELETON STORIES is a co-production between Discovery Health Channel and Atlas Media Corp., the production company which co-produces Discovery Health Channel’s number-one rated series, DR. G: MEDICAL EXAMINER. This new series serves as companion programming to DR. G: MEDICAL EXAMINER. Bruce David Klein is the executive producer for Atlas Media Corp. Executive producer for Discovery Health Channel is Alon Orstein.

SKELETON STORIES follows a team of the country’s leading forensic anthropologists as they unearth the last remains of a human being – the bones. Through these remains, experts reveal surprising details about a person’s life and death. The series mixes forensic analysis, dramatic reenactment, candid interviews and computer graphics.
