Atlas Media Corp. Receives Greenlight to Party with Food Network for New Series
Atlas Media Corp., one of the country’s largest independent producers of non-fiction programming, has just received the greenlight to produce the first season of BEHIND THE BASH!, a new primetime series for Food Network. BEHIND THE BASH!, 13 X 30 minute episodes featuring Giada De Laurentiis, star of “Everyday Italian” and granddaughter of the legendary movie producer Dino De Laurentiis, is scheduled to premiere on Food Network in the fourth quarter of 2005. The announcement was made by Bruce David Klein, Atlas Media’s President & Executive Producer.
BEHIND THE BASH! follows Ms. De Laurentiis as she goes behind the scenes with the caterers of the glitziest, most glamorous parties in America, showcasing every aspect of creating an unforgettable food experience at these high-end events. From the menu design and décor set up to the chaos of the kitchen, she’ll explore how it all comes together, what it looks like, and how it tastes when all the hard work is done.
Additionally, Atlas Media is on the hunt for unique locations and events to be showcased in upcoming episodes, currently searching out exciting, spectacular, and exclusive venues. One of the episodes already completed follows chefs and catering crews as they take on the challenge of preparing the perfect dinner for the 47th Annual Grammy Awards.
“Over the years, we’ve had a blast working with Food Network on series such as TOP 5,” commented Klein.” “BEHIND THE BASH! offers viewers a taste of star-studded indulgence, the roller-coaster ride of ‘making it happen’ – and food, glorious food!”
