Atlas Media Announces Two New Executive Appointments

New York, New York, (July 06, 2004) – Atlas Media, the award-winning reality-documentary-docudrama production company, has added two distinguished executives to its management team with the appointments of Alison Murphy as Senior Director, Operations, and Kim Pierce as Post Production Supervisor. The announcement was made by Bruce David Klein, President and Executive Producer of Atlas Media.
Alison Murphy joins the company as Senior Director, Operations. In her new role, Murphy will oversee all aspects of operations, post-production and facilities management. She will report to Bruce David Klein. Murphy comes from Oxygen, where she most recently served as its Director, Broadcast Operations. Previously, she served as Oxygen’s Director of Facilities, Construction and Real Estate, a capacity in which her duties included the construction of a 100,000 sq-ft office and production facility, and space planning for nearly 600 employees – work that received Architectural Record’s top award for commercial interior design in 2000.
Kim Pierce was appointed as Post Production Supervisor. In her new role, Pierce will oversee Atlas’ post production operations, with special emphasis on managing the 15 edit suites running 24/7. She will report to Alison Murphy. Previously, Pierce served as Director of Operations for Image Editorial, and as Facilities Manager for MTI/Image Group, where she personally oversaw their biggest clients including Paramount Pictures, NBA Entertainment, and A&E Television Networks.
